Quick Review: “Cherry” is the Russo brothers next film after “Avengers Endgame” and it’s not that bad. I appreciate the cinematography and risks they took in making this film. The acting is great, especially from Tom Holland. But the film falls within it’s story. The first hour is good and I liked the military section of the story. But the drugs part is where the story falls off. I felt there’s lack of character development into his story and it felt like there’s no where to go. While I liked the direction it’s going for, it kinda fall flat. But I liked they took risks. The color grading and editing felt off in a bad way. The color grading hold the film’s cinematography and editing a lot. It’s kinda ugly and didn’t fit into some scenes. Some unnecessary scenes and it felt too long. But it picks back up and the ending is….ok. While it’s not the Russo brothers bad film to date, it sure it’s not a fantastic film. It’s a good film but they could’ve fixed some things. But it was very entertaining. Now Streaming on Apple TV+. Vizeit Score: “C+” Copyright © 2022. Vizeit Studios. All Rights Reserved. Review Written By: Everardo Garcia Jr.

Review: How is this film not pushed for Oscars. This is better then house of Gucci. Holy shit. “The Last Duel” proves that these films are still great if directed and written well. The storyline and how it was divided into three chapters were executed very well. We get to see everything unfold in different point of views and see the truth according to each character. It’s done very well and hides certain elements in each chapter. The main cast were fantastic in the film and their chemistry was very good. Jodie Comer was excellent in the film and im surprised she’s not nominated for any awards. The directing is stronger then his previous films and it felt like his directing was much presented better. Ridley Scott still proves that he’s a talented filmmaker and can manage to bring this world to life. The cinematography is very great in the film and the production design is fantastic. The pacing can slow sometimes but it can pick back up. The action sequences were brutal and bloody. The final battle was the best scene in the entire film and i was scared who’s going to die and I wanted Matt Damon to win. Can’t tell but it’s a fantastic sequence. In the end, the film was amazing due its direction and amazing acting performances. The film can be slow sometimes and lose its grip. Some shots look too grayish or dark. Some scenes could’ve been cut out and while the film didn’t feel long, I felt that some scenes weren’t necessary for the story. Some scenes are kinda disturbing so beware. The king looked like he didn’t gave a shit. Some weird edits but I could be wrong. Just my opinion. But I still loved it. It’s a fantastic film filled with great performances and great directing. It’s a film that it will be looked at for many years to come and I wished it could’ve succeeded at the box office. Now Streaming on HBO Max. Vizeit Score: “A-“ Copyright © 2022. Vizeit Studios. Quick Review: “Flee” is already the best documentary film I’ve seen this year. It will be part of the 2021 list but it’s a well made film. The story is pretty sad and heartbreaking. Moving from country to country and getting caught along the way was horrible. There was some parts you can breath from all the trouble they went through. The Cruise ship scene was the most saddest scenes because they thought they would be safe, but unfortunately, they ended back in Russia and got beaten down. Immigration is still a huge topic, not just around the Hispanic community, but the whole wide world. The LGBT side story wasn’t forced which I’m glad for because so much films push diversity but poorly or just for political reasons. But the main focus was the immigration theme and it’s very important to see it from a different perspective. The animation is very well done and it’s creative in many parts of the film. The pacing is well done and I liked how even the actual interview is animated. This documentary was a surprise. Now playing in select theaters and on VOD. Vizeit Score: “A-“ Copyright © 2022. Review: "Dual" is a film that I didn't expect going in. Some will love it or be disappointed, but it's a film that explores the missing pieces of life and fixing yourself from madness. Karen Gillan proves that as the main lead in the film and it did not disappoint.
The film is set in the modern future and it's about a woman named Sara who is suffering of a rare disease. Unfortunately, she's about to die in a couple of months. During that time, she has the option to release a clone of herself so that clone can replace the real Sara and people will see the clone version as the real Sara. But things took a turnaround and the only way to survive is to a battle of the dual between the original and the clone. The concept alone is very good and watching it on film was executed well. Karen Gillan was pretty solid in the film. Her humor was very dry, sexual and creepy at some parts. Her personality was pretty dry but it's a good thing. The clone version was the best part of the film. Her performance as the clone was very great. She didn't get a lot of screen time but her character was more positive and she's helping the original Sara about more about herself. Overall, her performance was pretty great. The side characters were pretty good as well, especially Aaron Paul. He serves as the dojo master and while he didn't do much in the film, his introduction was pretty great. I want to see more Aaron Paul in movies. The cinematography was solid. Nothing special but there were some unique shots in the film. The editing is the most surprising part of the film. There are several scenes where there's no edit for a few minutes, especially the final Dual scene. I liked how the world knows that clones exist and there not freaked out which is pretty funny to me. The production design was solid and i liked the futuristic props and marketing videos they showed in the film. It felt near future but it's not. It's not like "After Yang" but it's more like "Guns Akimbo" but more serious and dramatic. The audio design was pretty solid as well. It's a well made low budget sci-fi film that has impressive VFX, solid pacing and storyline. The ending is still questionable yet good. I don't know how but the ending shall be a mystery. Some scenes can drag on unfortunately. There aren't that much action sequences if you thought going in. Don't set your expectations that high. Sara can be little iffy. While I liked her dry personality, it felt like there's any barley emotion with the character or it feels too dry. Some characters were heavily underdeveloped or not used enough like Aaron Paul's character. The concept is very good and executed well in the film, but after they get to the conflict and getting ready for the Dual, there's no where else to go. It's like the story just stopped and just says "hmmm, let's do this or that". Basically, no clear direction. The audience can get lost or even bored if they don't have any connections with the characters or even the world around them. That's the main issue with the film. Also, the ending felt too rushed with no clues or any explanation what so ever. Even thought it's not a perfect film, it's still a enjoyable film that tackles the clone elements and many sci-fi elements. It's a funny film as well and if your interested in high-concept films, this one is a good option. Glad I saw the original cut first before they change anything for the main release. Coming soon to theaters and VOD in 2022. The film has been purchased by RLJE Films. Vizeit Score: "B" Copyright © 2022. Vizeit Studios. All Rights Reserved. Quick Review: Jessica Chastain’s performance was amazing in the film including Andrew Garfield as Tammy and Jim Bakker. The costume design and makeup were outstanding and felt nearly realistic to the actual people. I loved how they exposed networks on using god as a form of money business and we see that overgrow with the clothing and the house. This film is kinda hilarious unintentionally in some parts. As a catholic, I looked at this Christian biopic film as how the USA uses god in good and bad ways. Especially the Money shot with the American flag in the end. That made me laugh. The pacing is well balanced but some scenes dragged on. The cinematography was pretty good capturing the 60s, 70s, and 80s. It was a well made film and it can garner some acting nominations and awards. Now Streaming on HBO Max. Vizeit Score: “B” Copyright © 2022. Vizeit Studios. All Rights Reserved.
