Quick Review: This film was a surprise and I knew this film was going to be amazing right from the start. The opening sequence was brilliant and beautiful. There’s minimal action in the film but well earned for the viewer. I loved the social commentary on Chicago and how this city is still fucked up from the violence, corruption, and other stuff. As a cinephile from Chicago (well, in the Illinois suburbs), I know that Chicago is still in trouble from all of this. Besides that, the story was well written by building up each character in the story. Everyone played a part of the political war and the money war. The performances were fantastic, especially Viola Davis and Elizabeth Debicki. Colin Farrell is too good in the film and the cinematography is amazing. Blueish gritty vibe of Chicago and I loved that. The score was decent but overall, I really did liked this film. It’s more focused on politics and Chicago but also the female crew of the heist. It’s a excellent film and Steve McQueen did a great job. Vizeit Score: “A-“ Copyright © 2022. Vizeit Studios. All Rights Reserved. Review Written By: Everardo Garcia Jr.

Review: Never knew one day a film will focus on a crew making an adult film and shit goes everywhere in a creepy farm. A24 really does know how to make films. This film was a unique surprise with many plot twists and interesting story structure that not many horror films tackle on today. It's sure pretty fucked up, especially in the end. The film's plot follows a cast and crew who gather to make a adult film on an elderly couple's rural Texas property, but find themselves threatened by a killer. First of all, the performances were hilarious yet pretty great. Mia Goth was the standout in the film and she played both roles in the film as Maxine and Peral. Maxine which is the star girl and Peral which is the old evil lady in the film. She had a lot of screen time in the film and carried the film. The supporting cast did very well and some of their performances were unintentionally hilarious and Jenna Ortega in this film was something else. I didn't want her character to do a specific action in the film and unfortunately, I was traumatized. The story is pretty simple but the story structure was unique and fresh that not many horror films try on. They focus a lot on the villains of the story and expanding their story all the way to the first world war. This will expand into a prequel film that is currently in post-production and later completed in a third film to make a "X" trilogy. That is pretty smart and totally new for horror film these days. The atmosphere was captured very well with the costume and production design that captures America during the late 70s. I also like how this is a commentary on the MPAA system on how R-Rated films are now touching on if films get classified into a PG or R rating before introducing the PG-13 Rating. While the film doesn't explicitly say that, there's some indication with the director character in the film who wants to create cinema rather than adult films. It's a commentary by the actual director behind the film "X" who is telling the audience what type of films do audiences really want to see. It's pretty clever. Besides this analysis, the horror elements worked very well but kind of too late in the film. But the gore is very spot on and bloody. The jump scares were your typical jump scares but very effective through the use of editing. The editing in this film was clever in the film. There's a constant type of editing that is used during transitions. There was one clever edit that made the horror come back and scare the shit out of me. It was used when a character got killed by a pitchfork and then a scene later, it goes back to that death scene at the exact moment and it scared the crap out of me. Now that's some clever editing. Yes, you still got your sexual scenes that you just wanna see from this film but there were some hilarious nudity scenes in the film that made me laugh a lot. Since I saw it in a theater alone, I laughed out loud. The technical sides were pretty great for an independent film and the cinematography was pretty good. The screen in my theater was kind of too grainy and the colors were off. C'mon AMC. But overall, the film delivered my expectations and there were surprising moments that I didn't expect from the technical side and the screenplay itself. It's clever, gory, funny, and a good time. The film can be slow in the beginning but it can pick right back up. There was some dumb choices in the film that made the film funnier yet stupid every time. One character stepping on a nail and not noticing it on bright light. Bruh. Mia Goth's younger character wasn't explored a lot and mostly on the old lady itself. But it connects back in the ending the film and the theme of the story. I also felt like some characters were under utilized in the film and while they were great, some were just there for the adult film. But luckily, no characters were there just for the kill count. I hate when they do that in horror films but this time, all characters were used in some way for the story to keep flowing. Overall, it's a fresh new horror film that I really do appreciate and took creative story risks to make it stand out. It's pretty clever within it's story and its fun seeing people getting killed in stupid ways with clever editing. If your looking for a unique horror film that includes weird elements, this is the one. I had lots of fun with this film and this film will be looked back by many horror fans. Quick Review: I still get chills in the final 30 minutes. It’s still hilarious with a lot of adult jokes that studios today won’t put in animated films today. The animation still holds up. There’s some shots that the animation looks little bit rough. But the story is very great and everyone in the story is amazing. The songs are well utilized in the film and the song “you need a hero” is straight up chills. Well paced and energy in the film. The perfect sequel according to “Schaffrillas Productions”. It’s literally the best film in the series without a doubt. Hilarious, energetic, fun, dark, and deep yet suitable for the story and fitted for all audiences. Well, not all because there’s a lot of edgy jokes. Still, an amazing sequel. Now Streaming on Netflix. Vizeit Score: “A” Copyright © 2022. Vizeit Studios. All Rights Reserved. This ain't your average superhero film. This is the Daily Wire's first entry into the superhero genre and after finishing the film, it's not that bad. While there's some story issues and pacing, it's still stick to the name and brought something unique that not many superhero film try to touch on. This film is a low budget film with minimal effects so don't expect any glorious effects. But some of shots of the film were pretty good. The color tone fit into the 80s action superhero vibe and the production design is very solid. It's only two main sets but for a low budget superhero film, this is very impressive. It also has one big name which is Cary Elwes from The Princess Bride (1987) and Stranger Things (2016-current). The other supporting cast is small but everyone did a good job in the film. Cary Elwes steals the film with his performance and brought charm into the film. The tone of this film is wacky yet fitting for the 80s and the costume design feels cheap but yet fitting for this film. The story is quite interesting at first, but it lost it's route in the middle but picked right back up in the end. The action scenes are ok at best. The VFX is well, you know, low budget stuff. What's quite interesting is the story. It's start out with a heist but it fails and we get some backstory but it goes more deeper into Elwes's character and the reason why the heist happened in the first place. It's more about the father and daughter relationship and commentary to film business today. They do it for the money and it ends with a satisfying yet sad ending. While I did not get emotional, the ending did land by bringing everything all together. It's more about character and story development rather than action. Some parts didn't work for me in the film and fell flat. I wanted more but there wasn't much to offer. The final 30 minutes really do pick up the film and really saved the film from being dogwater. It's not a great or bad superhero film, it's in the middle at best. This is a good film from Daily Wire and certainly better than Shut In (2021). This is The Daily Wire's best film yet. Hopefully they get a big director or writer to make a film that will show that the Daily Wire are really into the film business. Now Streaming Only at The Daily Wire. After waiting for 10 years since "The Dark Knight Rises" for a solo batman film, we finally got one. The result, it's the best batman film to date. A lot of passion and hard work behind this project and every single aspect of this film work amazing or perfectly. It's a slow wild ride from start to finish. DC is officially back on the menu. The film sees Batman, who has been fighting crime in Gotham City for two years, uncover corruption while pursuing the Riddler (Paul Dano), a serial killer who targets Gotham's elite. Just by the intro credits alone, I knew that DC ain't fucking around. They went straight into the movie with the Riddler watching the mayor from the hills. A fantastic scene with the "Ave Maria" song playing in the background. Later, he uses the same song to fuck Batman's mind. The opening sequence was well executed and dramatic as hell. It showcases that the Riddler ain't fucking around with Gotham and we get to see his point of view during this scene. This leads into the characters of this film, I'll go back to the story later. The characters in this film did a fantastic job and they each have their purpose in the story, including the smaller characters like Alfred. The batman himself was fantastic and we get to see a lot of batman doing his detective work. His character shows how brutal he really is and we get to see his emotions through the mask. Bruce Wayne is very different in this film. The way Robert Pattison portrays Bruce was unique and better for this film alone. Since it's year 2 for the story, Bruce is still trying to maintain balance between both worlds and people. He's both batman and Bruce Wayne during the film. But his scenes as Bruce Wayne were interesting and pretty great. Robert Pattison played very well as Batman and I can say, he's my second favorite Batman behind Christian Bale. For the rest of the cast, everyone did a fantastic job. Catwoman played by Zoe Kravitz did a great job and her storyline was well connected to the Batman's story with the conspiracy of his past. Their chemistry is well focused and I can say that her portrayal as Catwoman is my favorite live action Catwoman yet. Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon felt very Jim Gordon from the comics and he did a amazing job in the role. I liked the buddy cop relationship with the Batman and whenever they work on screen together, it's pretty fun and engaging. Alfred played by Andy Serkis did a great job in the role. While he didn't do much, he did affect the relationship between him and Batman and I liked how he acted like his father in some scenes. The villains' in the film were outstanding. Besides the amazing performance from the Riddler and his schemes which worked out perfectly and menacing, the other characters helped a lot in the story. Carmine Falcon played by John Turturro played a huge part in the film. While he didn't have a lot of screen time, his presence to the story and character of Bruce Wayne played a major role into this film. Turturro did a amazing job in the role. The Penguin played by Colin Farrell was just amazing and whenever he's on screen, his performance just outshines the other cast members. Farrell went crazy onto this role and the makeup on his character is just screaming "Oscar" and they better give the makeup people their Oscar. Just fantastic. Even the smaller character in the police force did a great job and they served some part of the story, even the tiniest bit that will help the Batman to save Gotham. The characters in this film were just amazing to fantastic and I'm glad no character was under utilized or averagely written. Thank you Matt Reeves. Now back to the story. The story is straightforward. But it goes deep into the rabbit hole between villain's like Falcone, the Penguin, and crooked cops. The Batman gets dragged into this situation and every time he finds a clue, the story expands into un-territory ways that it leads to the final battle. The storyline is well executed and the story is mostly about The Batman learning his true mistakes and past history to become the Batman everyone wants to know. The ending comes in full circle with the story and it pays off very well. The story is very mature and while there's some funny moments, it doesn't ruin the whole mood and tone of the film. The actions sequences and investigations were top notch. The violence in the film was very extreme due to the Riddler's actions. Each action sequence felt rewarding after investigating for clues and leads into fun territory. The car chase sequence was outstanding and most of the scenes, especially the car flip was practical. No CGI except the truck that contains gas. The fight sequences were well filmed as well and there wasn't a single camera shake and all the camera movement was smooth. The final battle was very fun and felt very climatic in which it did. The car chase sequence was my favorite part of the film but the drama sequences in between were outstanding in storytelling and characters. The editing in this film was well smoothed out and it clicked every time with the cut and thank god there weren't many cuts. It's pretty slow in terms of it's pacing and almost three hour runtime, but the editing was well suited because we want to experience each character's feelings and emotions and give the actors their standout performance. The audio design was fucking amazing. The footsteps of Batman just speaks to the character and his surroundings. Every tiny sound element to a huge explosion was just perfection. The audio design and sound mixing were very well done and hearing it through IMAX speakers were made for the theater experience. The IMAX experience was very great. While there was no IMAX scenes, the big screen and the IMAX sound speakers helped in making the experience standout. Makeup and costumes in the film were outstanding and the production design was fantastic. The cinematography was outstanding and beautiful. Every shot felt alive and real and the city of Gotham itself was just disgusting yet beautiful. It's the modern Gotham that people imagine and it was so unreal seeing a new version of Gotham that doesn't look like Chicago. While there are some shots that are from Chicago, especially the park shot, It feels like Gotham was actually real. Just beautiful. After Greg Fraser's work on Dune, I can say he's going to become the next Roger Deakins. His camera work and cinematography felt real and breathtaking. Even the simplest shots from Batman's eyes to Batman walking towards Penguin after a car chase walking behind the fire, I knew this film was going to become a masterpiece. In which it did because of the outstanding cinematography and the color pallet fitting for this film. Matt Reeves direction in this film was out of the radar and I was floored. His vision of Batman really came to life and with his screenplay and producing the film, he gets a lot of freedom control. His vision of Batman was riveting, dark, brutal, and grounded. He wanted to focus on the Batman character itself rather than the villians because people are here to see the Batman. He wants the audience to engage with the characters not just through action but slow paced drama. His vision was clear right from the beginning and I'm glad Warner Brothers didn't butcher his vision. Everything from the acting to the story to the screenplay to the production itself was fantastic. Every did a great job and after leaving the theater, my emotions were through the roof. While "The Dark Knight" will be a better film overall and still be my favorite film of all time, "The Batman" is now my favorite batman film of all time. I had a fantastic time with this film and I can't wait to watch it at home. Now Playing in Theaters. Vizeit Score: "A+" Copyright © 2022. Vizeit Studios. All Rights Reserved.
